What's for Dinner?

One of the assignments for my International Business Class is to attend a trade show sometime during the semester and then answer a few questions about it.  Last night I attended the What a Woman Wants Show with my best friend Maggie.  We had a blast!  There were a lot of booths with clothes, accessories, makeup, spa treatments, dental, you name it.  We entered just about every drawing there was for just about anything. We got to sample lots of treats, talk to people, and get coupons for some shops.  By the end of the show, I decided I needed this:

I loved the idea of it.  It has over 6 months worth of meals planned out for you.  I try to plan meals for each night of the week (I usually plan for two weeks and then go shopping) but now that I'm in school again and not always home for dinner it is a little more difficult.  There was a lot that I liked about this book and finally decided it was worth buying and giving a try.

See, it has the whole week--main dish, sides, and dessert--and below it has all the recipes.

It also has some helpful tools like this "Looking Ahead" box that tells you how you can save time for recipes later on in the week (like cooking extra chicken, or like the above box says preparing your meat for stew later on).

I haven't started using it yet, so I hope I will actually like it once I start as much as I do now.  I'll post more once I decide.  Until then, Happy Cooking!
