I've been sick with a cold for that past few days. I really hate colds, especially now that I'm an adult. When you're a kid, being sick isn't so bad. You get to stay home from school, lay on the couch, watch TV and be taken care of by mom. But when you're an adult a cold means you aren't really sick enough to just do nothing, but you are too sick to be very productive. So you still go to work or school, instead of resting, and you end up having cold symptoms for two weeks before you finally feel completely better. I think I'll get a flu shot this year, maybe that will help.
On another note, I just feel like I have to talk about Fall. Although I am mourning the end of summer--which was altogether too short this year--I can't help but feel a little excited to start wearing sweaters and scarves again. I do love Fall, there is just something about it for me that makes me happy. Especially the month of October. So many good things happen that month. General Conference, Halloween, My Birthday! Not to mention colorful leaves, layered clothes, and the excitement of Thanksgiving and Christmas just around the corner.
I'm looking forward to a lovely season and hope the same for you!
