I cheated. I know, I know! I'm sorry. But, I came home yesterday after working all morning in my grandparents yard, and then going straight to work for four hours on my feet at the Lion House, and I was exhausted. All I wanted to do was watch TV. We had already used our one-movie-per-week a few days ago, but I just gave in and we watched not one, not two, but THREE more episodes of our current favorite TV show, "Life". I only felt a little bad.
That being said, I have otherwise done very well with this Challenge. I have used my timer everyday (using it right now) to track my time online, and you know what? I really have seen a difference. I have realized that I really don't NEED more than 30 minutes a day online. I can usually get everything done that I need to in that time and then I can go and work on other things AND when I'm timing myself I never have that moment where I realize I have just wasted two hours reading blogs and Facebook stalking and its already 5:00 and I have to make dinner and I haven't done any homework. So besides my slip yesterday I would say this challenge has been pretty successful.
I have one more week to go and then I will re-evaluate and decide if I want to keep doing it or change it up a bit. Until then, I have a new project:
Twenty-five dollars at the D.I. and can't wait to paint it RED...

That piece of furniture is classic!!! I love it!
ReplyDeleteIt's as cute as you said. I will buy you the paint brushes. Love you
